Last year we were friends(we still are), and she sat in front of me in class. She would always turn around and stare at me(not in a bad way). I would ask her why she stared at me and she would just shrug. What was that all about?

Sounds like she likes you...unless she was just looking at you accidentally and didn't know what to say when you asked why she was looking at you. Do you ever start thinking about something during class and then realize you're staring at someone without even meaning to? She could have been blanking out and just looking in your direction. Then again, maybe she wants to be friends with you and talk to you so she turns to stare at you until you say something or until she can think of something to say. This has happened to me before too. There was/is a girl who used to turn and constantly stare at me (I'm in college) but never say anything. I never asked her why she did it. Then she started acting nervous around me and trying to talk to me. I know she's shy so that could be why but I often wondered if she liked me too (I hoped so). Now we're trying to be friends but it's awkward. I asked what was going on and she said "I don't know" (the verbal equivalent of a shrug). So if you figure it out, let me know!

If you were making stupid comments at the time, she probably found it ammusing! But if she shrugs when you ask, probably means she wants a peice! Just do her and get on with it!

U avoid her for some days or stay as if unnoticed her If she is really interested in u she will come to u for asking it. If she wont then she stays silent
