Is that ok If someone is using the same spoon or cup to feed/drink my baby (she is 9 months old) while they are eating? ( if someone has some dental/gum deseas) I mean I am just concerned about their oral hygine and it does not effect my baby's health. If it does effect my baby's health then how to deal with these kind of people since they do not understand that this is not right? Please advice me. Thanks

I would hand the person your baby's spoon when they try to feed her and politely let them know that you prefer they use her spoon and not let her eat off of the spoon they are using. The mouth contains many germs and it is too easy to pass a cold or flu etc via sharing utensils. The gum disease should not be a problem but the other viruses could be so ask them to use your daughters spoon and not theirs.

ask them to stop. it would bug me if someone did with my child too. if it is harmful I'm not sure. people should not share food/spoons at any age. i know people like share but who really want to share someone cold/flu?

I would say absolutely not. If you knew they had herpies, would you let them??????????????? Don't let them, there are certain gum issues, that can be contagious. Play it safe.
