Military ID or not, all US states everyone must be 21 y/o. You can go overseas to other parts of the world where the age is 18+.

Most countries have 18 as the drinking age:

Mexico, Mongolia, Phillipines, Russia, Slovak Republic, South Africa, United Kingdom (age 16 in restaurants), Uruguay, Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada (age 19 in some provinces), Columbia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Jamaica, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, New Zealand, Peru

The USA is the ONLY country with a 21 drinking age.

Actually it is both true and false. If you are in the USA and on a military base you can buy beer at the enlisted bars. Also, a lot of clubs around where I live let people with military I.D.'s drink in their establishments, well when I was going clubbing that's how it was anyways. Good luck.

Having a military ID does not change the drinking age. The age varies by country, and when you are in a foreign nation, you are bound to the laws of that nation. If the age happens to be 18, then you're in luck, if it is greater, then you have to get your buddies to buy it for you.

You must be 21 in the US, whether you're miltary or not. This is true on base or off base.
Just about all other countries, the legal age is 18, so if you're in the military, you're over 18 anyway, miltary ID or not. But in the US, you'll get in trouble if you drink and you're under 21...I watched it happen over and over.

In the United States you have to be 21. If you are in other countries, you abide by their rules, which is usually 18, unless you are in a pub in England, in which case it seems they don't card you at all.
