It's in the first section, but I don't trust TurboTax. I used them two years in a row, and so did my kids, and both times we owed lots of money the TurboTax way, but got refunds when I did them the old fashioned way (filling out the forms myself and calling the IRS directly with questions). No kidding! I went from owing thousands of dollars, to getting a few bucks back!

It will give it to you automatically, as long as you don't say you're claimed as a dependent by someone else.

You say 'no' when it asks if someone else can claim you.
