Why pick on Mormons only? All the judeo-christian cults lead to the need for therapy, victimize everyone, and the abuse of followers.
The most widespread form of child abuse is religious indoctrination, why isn't anything ever done about this? That's the question that should be on everyone's lips...

You need to distinguish between Mormon fundamentalists and the true Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pres. Hinckley has repeatedly said that anyone involved in molesting children or polygamy will be disciplined and ex-communicated. Also, even among the Mormon fundamentalists there is a huge range of behavior, like any other religion. If you are political-minded about anti-polygamy, you can always contribute to programs like Tapestry Against Polygamy in southern Utah. I'd like to point out that polygamy was officially ended in 1890 by Wilford Woodruff, because the Civil War had already been over long enough that the imbalance of female members to male members in the West had evened out considerably. The polygamy that goes on today does not have any sort of divine sanction, in my opinion.

What the crap?
We do not support polygamy... I know zero LDS child molesters (and btw I know over 2,000 mormons...)
I also know zero Mormons who ended up in therapy... unless you count speech therapy lol.
No children and women are victimized by our religion... And if you could maybe, oh, show some examples? I have no clue what you are talking about.
Also, you cannot judge a religion by the behavior of less than 1% of their members. That's like judging soccer to be a sport full of headbutters just because of what Zinedine Zidane did during the World Cup. Get a grip, will you?

First of all its nothing like the priest and the catholic church thing this religion says for a man to go to heaven he needs several young wives ect ect ect its all sick
Oh yeah, Raping kids isn't sick at all.
Now, provide this proof that all Ex-Mormons end up in therapy. I know for a fact this one is wrong, because I know several Ex-Mormons.
You did know they banned Polygamy even before I was born, right? (BTW, I'm 36...) So really all you are doing is repeating something that has been done away with and trying to start **** with the Mormons.
So, I would like to know which religion you are so that I can avoid it. Obviously it turns people into little liars.

Um - first of all - you need to get your information correct before you go spreading lies.
You think the church supports molestation? Are you kidding me? Guess what, there are people who do sick things in every religion!
The church DOES NOT support ANY type of abuse - spousal, self, or children...you are seriously misinformed.
If you knew some Mormons that were actually living the religion, you might find out how nice and normal we are...there is no 'screwing people up' people develop their own problems.
Seriously...get a grip.

Gosh, hateful. I'm an ex Mormon, and not in therapy. I never knew the religion to support child molestation, and while they have very specific and ideas about women, it's not necessarily victimization. Women are not treated badly, they are just assigned a very traditional role. While I might not agree with it, I certainly didn't see it as harmful. They put a lot of emphasis on the family. I left the religion because I no longer believed, not because of any problem with the people. Please rethink your hatred.
Edit: No, the religion does NOT say that. Get some new hate tracts.

Illegal acts should be punished by law. Blaming an entire religion for those acts is simply wrong. Catholic priests have been convicted of molesting children, does that mean the Catholic church should be banned? No.
People need to stop thinking that because one person does something, all people of the same "group" condone it or would likewise do it.

We the people allow this. We allow it because we the people will not act, but expect someone else to act for us. Only you can change the world around you. If you do not, nothing will happen. If you do, the road will be hard and long. Either do, or do not. Only you can act on your will and emotions. If you see others hurting others and do nothing, you might as well be part of it, because by doing nothing, you are saying that it is O.K.

What? Okay, I'm confused. I am a Mormon and I don't know a single Mormon child molester. Our religion is against that. I don't know why people think we make young women marry old men. That's really gross. We marry people around our age and we're against polygamy.

yeah...
take your meds.
If you mean "child molestation" as in marriage or sex between anyone under 18, up until recently, I believe almost all Abrahamic religions have at one time allowed marriage to children as young as 11 or 12. Here in the US I believe you can get married as young as 14 or 15.
Wasn't Mary only 14 or 15 when she gave birth to Jesus?
