Yes it is. The law is racist too! The kids of these people are going to pay taxes, fight for this country, and keep the economy going. We take in your tired your weak, your poor ............ I am pro any immigration
(side note) In the furniture business we used to get a lot of stuff from Mexico.
The furniture manufacturers closed down in Mexico, when the U.S. figured we could get something for 3 bucks less in China. We have a simbiotic relationship with (mainly Mexico) our neighbors to the south. I would rather see a Mexican working in Mexico, or a Honduran in Honduras etc..... Why do we give the biz to China? So they can use the money to keep their people down?
The U.S. govt is diverting your attention from important things that are changing for the worse in our once great democracy if you are focusing on illegal immigration.

Yes! And ratings boost for talk shows. Political diversion. Nobody! wants to stop Illegal immigration. If they did they did, they would be talking about the only thing that will slow it down. Shutting off the money. Any one serious about this would be for seizing the property of businesses which illegals. Just like the do for drug and tax violations. This subject is soo good for lawyers, politician, government employees and the media, that one wants it to stop being a problem!

No....because there are illegals of every race. The Mexican group gets singled out more because they are without a doubt the largest number. They are the group causing the biggest drain on the welfare system. They are the group most unwilling to learn English. They are the group which causes the most crimes of any other. They are the group with the most stolen identies, they are the group who feels they are entitled to be here and have blatently declared their anti-American intentions.

They claim it's for all illegals but you never hear a peep from them when they deport illegals from any other country but Mexico. You don't hear anti's trying to "save" any group by saying they were better people or their story was a little more sorrowful. The law is the law...and it goes for everyone. Period. Where's LuLac or LaRaza or the ACLU or MeCha helping the legal immigrant in Chicago who has to prove she's in love with the American she married? She sufferes from a rare disease and legally came here for help. Lived with family met this guy, got married a few years ago and now is up for citizenship......but because so many have used marraige as a means to stay here.......she has to prove she's in love with this guy and not just using him for citizenship. She hasn't broken any laws. But not a peep. She's black though and abided by the rules. She's not crying racism. Her husband says if she's told no......he'll go with her to her country. There's no screaming about tearing apart the family. No talk about the medical care she needs that she literally can't get back in her homeland. I mean they could play the "race" card real easy. If they are wanting immigration reform....why aren't they jumping to her aid? But no.....

When they talk about how employers who are unfair to illegal immigrants......why isn't there some proof shown of what happens to the Chinese or Korean in the clothesmaking industry? Why aren't they exposing the prostitution rings the smgglers from China use? No....it's just about the Mexicans. When's the last time you saw an add for a job in which it said "must speak Korean"? When's the last time LuLac stepped up to the plate to fight for a school to offer "bi-lingual" education in Chinese, since alot of Chinese people settled in the area? No......just Spanish even though there's over 137 different languages spoken in this country. Whens the last time you went into a Chinese restaurant and had to order in Chinese in order to be waited on? Hey...we got middle-easterners here at practically every cigarette shop and I don't have to speak Arabic to get served. Haven't seen Cheerios or any other food in the store printed in Arabic, or any of the multitude of languages in order to serve those immigrants better. And they're more a minority than the Mexicans are. They also have alot more money to spend but no-ones "catering" to them. They have to adjust too. They have families to feed as well. They have cultures and everything too. But the so-called pro's aren't fighting for them. Bottom line is if there's racism it's comming from the LaRaza and LuLac and all them because they don't want other immigrants here, legal or otherwise unless their Mexican. We had a few planes take South American illegals back and there was not one word of "out-cry" for them. So don't play the race here. Doesn't work.

I think the problem with illegal immigration is people forget the word illegal. That means against the law. So if they are breaking the law they should go back to there country. If a person steals and we send them to jail isn't that taking away there rights as a citizen. Get real dummy.

Guess it must be a personal issue. I noticed that I was just as concened when I met illegal Canadians and Europeans and Australians and the like. They were all people that looked just like me. I feel the same way about the illegal Mexicanos.

No!!!!! A country sets certain rules and policies and anyone wanting to live in that country should obey those. If they don't want to then they shouldn't try to live hear. You live by certain rules and policies, why shouldn't they? It is not racism it is called obeying the law. It doesn't matter what country you come from if you decide to live in another country you should do what you need to to become a legal citizen of that country and it is that simple!!! Those that try to do other wise are breaking the law of that country or our country and should be handle accordingly.

No not in itself. Its more of a rule of law issue. Either you believe in the rule of law or you don't.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of men or what motivates them. For myself I think the rule of law is a good thing.

On the other hand of those in favor of enforcement of our immigration laws how many are of Spanish or Mexican decent that came here legally as opposed to ignorant nut cases that think Mexican is a race.

Absolutely not. You must be kidding.

If we are a nation which lives by the rule of law, then laws must be enforced. Follow the rules and become a legal immigrant, and you won't have any problems.

No. A country must have the power to control their borders. Without this power, they would lose territory simply by occupation of foreign nationals. That is why the Feds pay supplements to people living in Alaska. Under international law, if you don't have people living in a territory, you lose your claim to it. The US keeps a permanent staion at McMurdo Sound Antartica to keep any one nation from claiming ownership.
