Airedales are a working breed and need A LOT of excercise. If you don't have a fenced-in yard that your dog can run in, be prepared to go on lots of loooonnnngggg....walks with it. A tired dog is a well-behaved dog :)
They have a double coat of hair and this hair needs to be "plucked" about twice a year. If you keep the coat stripped your dog will barely shed. If you don't strip the coat, it will shed. It's beard will need to be washed DAILY due to food residue.
In regards to food, follow the directions on the bag of food. Airedales usually weight between 40 lbs.-65 lbs., depending on if their male or female. They are prone to VERY dry skin and will need special food to keep this in check.

Airedales need lots of exercise, there the biggest terrier so you imagine an airedale with the typical terrier hyperactivity.Airedales should be walked 2/3 times a day including some free running ,walks should be about 1/2 hours long.Feeding you will be fine just feeding her twice a day morning and evening, and grooming should be done about 3/4 times a week. You can always have her proffesionaly groomed and clipped at a dog grooming salon.Good luck.

For grooming and feeding, you need to talk to an Airedale breeder and your vet. I can tell you for absolutely SURE that you MUST walk your Airedale daily! Terriers of all kinds, no matter what size they are, are meant to be on "the earth". Your Airedale will be a happy, well behaved dog if you walk it twice a day, min. 30 minutes a walk. Good luck and happy rodent hunting with your dog!

How old is she? Presumably you have just acquired this dog - did she come from a reputable breeder? Need more information!
