You might try being a little more specfic with your question .Traditions in China vary from province to province .Also the climate in China varies, so presumably would the type of clothes ,Portugal is a much smaller nation with the natives all speaking the same language .
Ask your question again but explain what it is you are looking for.i.e .Is there any similarity between Portugese religious traditions and those in China.if so what are the similarties and how have they come about.Or
Did Portugese explorers in the past leave any legacy that can be seen in modern China ?

My neighbour goes to China every year and says he can go there for 4 weeks for the price it would cost him to go anywhere in Mexico for 1 week. I have a friend who lives in Portugal and she says that everything is very, very expensive but both are beautiful and have lots to see and do. If you go to Portugal, take a lot of denim jeans and you can sell them and make back all the money it cost you to go there (according to my friend who always buys a suitcase full whenever she comes back here to visit us -- she sells them to her friends for twice what she pays here but could get more!!!)
