Mad River in Bellefountaine is pretty good. They added a 2.5 million dollar expansion this year. It is overall a pretty good resort. It has 2 terrain parks, snow tubing, rentals, food, training, etc. It is the best I know of in Ohio. Check out their website for hours and updates.

Don't know about IN Ohio, but if you're on the east side of Ohio, a drive to Peak 'n' Peak (www.pknpk.com) or Holiday Valley (www.holidayvalley.com) might be your best bet. Both are in New York State. PknPk is a half hour east of Erie, PA. Holiday Valley is a couple hours farther. No snow at either resort yet, this year, but maybe that'll change this week. Watch their weather reports.

He asked about OHIO! I dont really know man, never have thought of it. But i would take a look at this. Looks like Boston Mills would be your best bet. But if you can I would get out of ohio. But hey, i know how bad it can be sometime. When you gotta ski, YOU GOTTA SKI!

My mom's side of the family grew up skiing Boston Mills. I skied there one winter. If you don't have any other options...then go for it.

Much smaller than out of state places though. But for locals, it's good.
