If they do not BELIEVE in God there is no RIGHT or WRONG ANYTHING!
2 Timothy 2:15 STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God , a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of TRUTH.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this IGNORANCE God winked at , but NOW commandeth ALL MEN EVERYWHERE to REPENT.
There are no excuses and there will be no excuses on the judgment day.
How do we get faith, How do we Believe?
Romans 10:17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING , and hearing by the WORD OF GOD.

How does a person KNOW that they are living the right way if they do believe in?
GOD?
I know that is a question to a question, but still valid.

The right way is what you believe in and what feels true only in your own heart and not what someone else forces you to accept. Even without a belief in God you have developed your own moral code. Go with what your heart tells you!

I could ask the same of people who DO believe in a God.
Right and wrong is subjective. How can everyone be expected to follow one right way with the differences we have between people? What's right for one person may be wrong for another.
There is no true right way to live. Whatever feels right to you. Of course, that doesn't mean people have to stand up to it, like those who believe their right way of living is harming others like killing them for not believing their ways and more.

But if you don't believe in God, there's no answer my friend. What is right and what is wrong was given to mankind by God. If you don't believe...I don't know what to say other then follow your heart, it is your actions that define you.

Using the word "know" rules out anyone, even people that do claim belief in a diety. Noone knows they are living the right way, or even that there is a right way.

Again, this "all morality comes from god" nonsense.
That's covered in "The God Delusion" in detail, but here's a quick hint:
hurting others - bad
helping others - good

The right way is a way pleasing to God.
Therefore, the only way to KNOW you are living the right way, is to please God.
Now is you say you don't believe in Him, you are in the wrong way.
Hebrews 11:6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
