St. Mark's place has some awesome punk stores. Some of my faves are 'Trash and Vaudeville' and 'Search and Destroy'

Depends on what you mean by punk gear.

Do you mean those clothes that say "punk" on them? If so I say find your nearest Hot Topic.

If you want to do what we did back in the day....DIY
Make your own. It's not hard.
Get some basics at a thrift store and add whatever you want to them.
