I am fairly young and have accepted the fact that I have to cook in order to survive. (McDonald's has done a number on my waistline!) I am looking for a cookbook or recipe website that offers easy, feasible meals to prepare. I do not have lots of time or money. I enjoy pasta and soups/stews. I prefer to bake things as opposed to fry them. Do you have any suggestions?

For easy healthy quick meals, go to foodnetwork.com and check out Racheal Ray's 30 minute meals. I have made a lot of her recipes and they take me about 45 minutes. I don't have everything prepped the way that she does. But she has a lot of healthier recipes as well. I also believe that she has a cookbook out of 30 minute healthy meals too. Good luck. I know that she loves pasta too, so that is right up your alley.

You might want to try the magazine Cooking Light. If you are trying to lose the weight from too many McDonald's dinners, and are looking for healthy, easy to prepare meals without too many exotic ingredients, then you would probably enjoy the magazine. Before subscribing, check out their website - Cookinglight.com.

I agree with the others, there are tons of web sites to go to but you can also go online and order the Kraft magazine. It's free and the recipes are easy, inexpensive and very delicious. You'll probably have many of the ingredients asked for in your pantry already.
