Okay....Im a 17 year old male....ill be 18 in a few months...but anyways something is up with my teeth. My very back teeth....on both side, at the very back of my mouth on the top...i think i have cavities on them or something...and its really delicate back there...like the tooth is fragile....and i feel back there, and it feels like another tooth is coming in under it. They dont hurt, but they are bugging me really bad, and like i said, its really fragile...i think ive already chipped a little bit of it.

At your age I wouldn't think it would be decay, unless you just don't brush your teeth or ever floss, and your dentist said you had rampant decay. More than likely it's your wisdom teeth trying to make their way in. If you have room or not, can't say. Best thing to do is go to your dentist and get them checked. If they are impacted they could effect the root of the adjacent teeth and cause root resorption. So don't take a chance, you are going to be using those teeth to eat a lot of meals! Good luck!

A few thoughts:
1. What you are describing sounds like wisdom teeth - the teeth in the very back. Most people have four wisdom teeth. Many people need to have wisdom teeth removed, some as early as their teens (your age). This is normal.
2. Have a dentist evaluate the situation. If you are avoiding a dentist because of cost, check with a local university to find out about dentist's in training who may be able to provide the service at little or no cost.
3. Have this done soon. If left unattended the wisdom teeth could start moving your other teeth, which isn't good.
Good luck!

You are likely getting your wisdom teeth. You will experience sore gums for awhile as you will be getting four of them in the next few years.
There are products that can be used to numb the gum area. Check the back ingredients as they all differ in strength. Make sure you have no allergies to products ending in "caine" as this is usually the active ingredient.
You may want to read sites that deal with wisdom teeth removal. My dentist wanted to take mine out but he didn't have a good reason. He also wanted to fill mine, but I just have deep grooves and no cavities.

yes you are at the age where it makes me think you are getting your wisdom teeth . wisdom teeth start at ages 18 and any where till 26yrs. they can make your (very back teeth) molars very senisitve when they are growing in
but if they have dark spots (cavities) or are chipping you need to go to a dentist so they can be fixed before they get so bad they need pulled
i know i am 25 and had to get my top molars out and all my wisdom teeth so i know bout this subject
you can take aleive if it hurts bad
good luck

Sounds like you may be getting your wisdom teeth. You are the right age for that to be happeing. They often don't come in straight and can ocassionally cause infections. You should see your dentist to determine if these are your wisdom teeth and if they are coming in straight. If they aren't they could affect the alignment of your other teeth. Good luck.

It's tartar if it's between the gumline and the tooth itself. It's not another tooth coming under it. If you floss it enough it should break off, but a dentist could really give a good clean and fix that up properly.

Your wisdom teeth are probably coming in. Be sure to get your toothbrush way back there and keep it real clean. Then when you can, get to a dentist for professional advice.

It's probably your wisdom teeth coming in, if you've never had them removed. Most people have to have them removed because there's not enough rooom for them. Hope this helps.
