How many songs can I include in my wedding ceremony without my guests getting restless?

you should have about 30 minutes of prelude music.

Then you have a song during the bridal party processional.

A song for when the bride comes in.

You can then include one or two performed songs.

One song for the recessional.

no more than 2, after that I get really pissy and A.D.D. and want to get the heck out! perhaps have one right before you say your vows and one after and between the kiss where you could do a unity candle, but beyond that, its a wedding, not a concert....and thats my personal biggest pet peeve at weddings! Hope this helps! Good luck!

We had like four, not including the prelude music and the bride's march. Whatever works. Talk to your wedding coordinator and/or your musician(s). They'll know what's acceptable/normal in your area!

It is up to you, it is your wedding. One at the beginning and one in the middle and one at the end would not be too much.
