tanget lines and angles... geometry

2007-01-15 04:44:04 · answer #1 · answered by escotia21 2 · 0 0

Yes I would say that it does. Of course, indentifying numbers when calling shots like some people choose to play the game. On another note, having some idea on the angles of certain shots and knowing how much of the cue ball you need to hit in order to successfully pocket a shot. I like to identify certain shots as if I were to use a protractor, which is a common math tool.

Lots of angles that you have to "fanagle" to get from point "A" to "B"......the "diamond system" also uses math that if figured right tells you where to shoot when "snookered" and having to kick at a ball.....plus of course we do have to use our fingures to count the games....then depending on the game you are playing you have to be able to count up to 15.....so lots of math that makes you think that you should have been paying attention during school!!
