Assuming you are a teenager: This is natural to check out this kind of stuff, Some parent realize this some do not. I would caution you though keep it in moderation, like any good vice in has a tendancy to become addictive. If we were to poll the males internet generation right now (30 years to 18), you would find that about 99.9 percent of them had some porn at one time or another. Although there is that 1 in one thousand that has no interest. Ladies out there you are nieve - if you think my husband, son, brother hasn't. If he has told you he hasn't he is probably lieing. Now the older than 30 crowd I can't speak for as they didn't have the access to it when their hormones were raging
Now on to your problem:
As tough as it is you have been caught, you might be able to help yourself by trying to explain these things to her, but that is tough for anyone to do and your mom my be like one of these nieve people that posted above me who have no clue. You may just have to take a grounding or loss of privliges. Sorry I cannot offer you a get out of jail free card.

What were you thinking?
If you are into this stuff, you shouldn't be living at home.
If you choose this kind of recreation then you need to have your own place and do your own thing.
Don't think for one minute any parent finding this stuff would be happy that you have chosen this kind of recreation.
it has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with morals, standards and principles in life.

I guess this makes me wonder how old are you? I suppose it's only natural for a kid to hide porn.
I'd still like to see more kids getting books on sex and love making, but not the ones exposeing only women. ( well, if your gay, I suppose you may have a male porn).
But kid, go out and get books on real love making, positions and sexual things. Don't make your mind a dirty one so early with the young girls being exposed as only sex objects.

Buy some more! Mom knows you are interested in the sex. Let her know you want to be educated so when you do get in the sack with a woman, you'll know what to do. It's 2007 for Pete's sake. They were young once. No they didn't wait till they got married to get in the bed with another person. Who knows you might get MOM to hook you up with a friend of hers!

damn that sucks. my mom is like that too. drags me to church every week.
anyway, she will probably be in shock, disgusted, and a little hurt for a while because porn is supposedly so against 'god'. if i were you i wouldnt talk about it too much. she will get over it, everybody looks at it these days. dont make things more akward than necesary. maybe avoid her for a few days then pretend like nothings wrong. she probably isnt too keen on having a 'talk' about it either.
