Mathematically its 2000
1st proposition gives that each cat can eat a rat in 5 minutes
so it can ate 20 rats in 100 minutes
100 cats in 100 minutes shall eat 20*100 = 2000
But logically the answer is only 100
Because after eating a rat, cat will not incline to go for the 2nd one because its no longer hungry.
So the Answer is only 100 and not 2000

If 5 cats can eat 5 rats in 5 minutes , that means each cat requires 5 minutes to eat a rat, so 100 cats will eat 100/5 = 20 x 100 = 2000 rats in 100 minutes!

5 cats eat 5 rats in 5 minutes. this means each cat takes 5 min to eat a rat. so in 100 min, a cat can eat 20 rats.
if a cat can eat 20 rats is 100 min, then 100 cats can eat 100 x 20 rats, i.e., 2000 rats.
the answer is 2000 rats!
