I am getting married in June and I would like to do it in a church. Problem is my fiance and me neither one go to a church. Just wondering if any churches in Paducah, KY would let us get married there anyways??

I'm from Paducah and if your parents are members of a church then you might be able to get married there.

I dont live in Kentucky, but I know most churches only let members or family of members use the church for the wedding. This is because marriage is considered a sacred and holy event by the church, and therefore the minister would have to consell the parties. Also, churches are considered places of worship, and they do not like to "rent them out" to just anybody. Your best bet would be to look at another venue if you dont have family that attends church.

Congratulations !!!

I think if your not a memeber, you have to have several counseling sessions with the church official. They want to make sure they are comfortable with being the ones who marry you. I don't know, I won't go in a church, I'm getting married on the beach in Mexico.
