because they blow up after a few months and argos and other stores would be up to thier eyes in people complaining!

Because there used by professional stylists in salons. I got my GHD's of the GHD website over a year ago. They still work, there great!

Because they are an exclusive product. GHD decide where they want their product sold. If they were sold everywhere they would lose the exclusivity, and cost. This is also what happens with designer clothes!

Hi there. Don't know why not sold in Argos. Do know they were sold in Superdrug. Last I checked price was #89.99 before Christmas. That was the cheapest I found.

i no ive had to get remington 230 degrees but anyway i think it is because ghds are salon-hairdresser straighteners which you can buy from them or get them from ebay! but i had ghds but they blew up! they good for hair but they do run out (mine ran out after 6 months!)

Shops stopped selling them because too many people were bringing them back as they were blowing up. This was just a faulty batch though and people were leaving them plugged in, they shouldn't have blown up anyway. I got mine at christmas and they have been fine.

Big companys want to buy in bulk at a set price, and sell cheep
GHD dont want that system they want a so called decent and fair price for them

because it is a professional product.Like professional shampoos ect.If you see them in a chemist or supermarket then they are blackmarket and are not the real deal they also won't work the same.GHD's will only be avalible from salon supply storers and certain salons
