I just moved to the New York to work as a nurse..I am half Japanese and Filipino so i lived in both countries....Everyone there was nice to me in my home land..and i am also very nice to everyone..
I am rather a tall Slim person but with rather bigger breast then average which are REAL!!i am a healthy person!! i am also nice to all my new co workers thats here in the states..at first i didnt mind that they were mean to me because i taught thats how they are here at first..
when i am out the room i always hear them talking about me..they even made rumors saying i slept with Doctor Reyes and he payed for my boobs!! and i always throw up my food..i am stupid and alot of mean things!
I have never expirence this before i didnt know people can do or say that to me? it never happen to me in my country before i am thinking about just moving back...

I've encountered this at work also. It's common in the American work place to give the new people a hard time. This is their way of saying that you are lower position than them. It's a very primitive and unsophisticated because they judge you by your seniority and not by your skill level. The ones that do that are obviously threatened.
They could also feel jealous by your beauty and perhaps threatened by your ethnicity. But don't let them bother you. They want you to get angry. If they get you angry then they'll be happy to have something to talk about with each other. It's sick I know.
Do the best you can at work. Work hard and try to do better than them. Hopefully they will learn to respect you and admire you for your professionalism and work ethics. Perhaps they will be-friend you in the end and ask for your help when needed. Don't let them take advantage of your hard work habits. Know when to say no.
For now, shrug off their two-faced persona. Ignore their comments. If they continue, most likely they will give you abuse in front of your face (how boring). Like children, they want to see your reaction when they mistreat you. That's when you confront them but WITHOUT ANGER! Tell them that you think their comments are cheap and un-called for. Tell them that their jokes are low-brow and boring. Tell them that you're secure with yourself that you don't need to make fun of people to be happy with life. Let them know that you are marvelling at their manners or lack-there-of... Challenge them to prove to you that Americans have manners! Never let them see you angry. That's what they want. Do not go down to their unsophisticated level.
What I'm basically saying is that you should fight but fight smart! I know, it's sad that you have to fight in the first place. Most sophisticated cultures are cruel to begin with. You don't want to go back to Asia knowing that you didn't try your best. If you did your best then you will have no regrets.

Women have been mean to me at times as well. They are just jealous of your looks. I also am thin and I believe people have probably made the same comments about me. I dont take it personal. I think they are so miserable with the way they look that they have to put you down to try to feel better.

no sweetie...there not just mean in new york..that crap happens all over the world..you just happened to fall in line at the wrong place...my advice....just from experience..if you let people walk on you...they will...just do to it...so if you hear that crap going on behind your back..and you know they are talking about you...come in and confront the problem..once you stand up for yourself..it will all stop..pinky promise...or if you are too scared to..go to someone higher in the department to discuss what is going on...what they are doing is called "Slander," you could get them fired and taken to court for that...but your best bet...is to try and make them stop yourself first..if people think you are an easy target...until you prove otherwise..they are gonna push your buttons..good luck sweetie..keep your head up....people can be soo cruel.
