Christians also bombed abortion clinics and the conflict in Northern Ireland was between Christians. The KKK is a Christian organization too.
Christian violence is hardly in the past.

I have never heard of that. Would you be so kind and give us at least a name or the location of the Museum?
There is always going to be someone who is zealous about their faith, and can't stand others bashing it or pointing the faults of some of their followers. It is only some, don't judge all base on what some do.
What happens in the past is NOT over and done. I never heard that either. The Christians believe that each person will pay for the good or bad deeds they do in their life, past present or future.
May I ask!
Was the Museum just about the horrors caused just by the Christians? if that is the case it doesn't speak much of the lady who owned it. That rasie a red flag about her motives, and why would she want to open a Musesm that mainly address the horror of what SOME Christians did! It is not like it is new news! That would be consider prejudice, and bigotry. Because Christians are not the only one who caused horror, other people from other religious people, political people, or for whatever their reasons were did do much horror to others. If it was targeted only to the Christians, that would show her bias against the Christians! Was it? Also, it depends on how it was represented. If she was planning to show the positive as well as the negative side of the Christians, that would make a difference. Was it? I am just trying to understand what drove that person to abuse that woman.
Who ever harmed that woman no matter what was the reason was wrong, and they should pay for it.
I refuse to tolerate anyone who cause harm or hate to others no matter who they are, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Atheist, or whomever.
Thank you

Because every walk of life has had bad things done within it. It would be like if someone put up a museum of horrors that gays have done, or atheists or muslims or anyone. Because there are horrors in all of them. But, its only considered acceptable if people trash Christianity. No other life style is allowed to be persecuted. Society has told us all that we cannot judge people on the behalf of what someone else does, ESPECIALLY if the others in that group do not condone the behavior, which Christians do NOT condone the bloody acts of the past. We would be called bigots if we had a museum of all the horrible things done by any other religion or race or lifestyle, wouldnt we?

Well, they were wrong, they sinned, should be prosecuted, and sent to prison. They should also read their bible a little bit more...
I'm a christian. I'm not to afraid to admit that the christian establishment throughout history was very much evil in what they did.
Christianity was never meant to rule over the world in this present age. That only comes when Jesus returns as king... but that's another answer altogether.
I didn't agree with the crusades. God said to spread the gospel, not conquer territory.
I didn't agree with burning witches either. Share the truth with them but live and let live. That's what we're called to do.
Don't lump me in with those so-called christians. I would have went to such a museum to learn how man can corrupt the purity of Jesus' message and teach others to not follow suit.
Remember, not everyone who claims to be christian are what they say. You can easily tell by our actions and words.
Christians are not perfect. We've sinned in the past. We sin in the present. We're guarenteed to sin in the future too. Don't let anyone tell you different. If they do, then they are liars.

No one likes to be seen as the bad guy which is why they want to put it in the past. Of course they like to use such cute little sayings as those people weren't Christians because they weren't following the word of Christ, but you must remember the Abrahamic faiths were born of blood. I personally don't believe that all Christians are war-mongers but like anything else it only takes a few extremists to ruin things for the majority.
Blessed Be )O(

I wonder what the source of your story is? I'm not saying that it didn't happen, but I wasn't there, neither would I participate in those things.
So 'Christians did all this' is a little generalizing. I didn't do it, I wouldn't support such activity, and you have to know that IF you are a reasonable person, most Christian wouldn't do it.
Where did what you claimed happened happen? Was it in the USA? Because I did not hear about it.

Christians have hatemongering groups, such as the KKK and skin heads, just as atheists have hatemongering groups, like the ones who come here just to insult christians. Yes, that's hatemongering too, yet atheists don't want to admit it, they call it "instructing". I'm guessing all religions have their nasty little counterparts, that use the name of God to do evil.
Ask yourself why this person would want to show the past horrors of christianity if she wasn't basically a hatemonger herself? I'm not saying she deserved it, no real christian would have vandalized her property, just these quasi-christian hatemongering groups, but face it, an atheist wouldn't have wanted to have a museum that does nothing but but show christian horrors if she wasn't a hatemonger herself. Personally, I have no patience for hatemongers, either christian, muslim, atheist or anything else. Hatemongers are the ones destroying this world, not religion.

Just because one claims to be a Christian doesn't make it so, just as one might claim to be a singer. Ever watch the auditions for American Idol? Any one who does not follow the commandments of Christ is not a Christian. And Christ prophecied that many would claim to be who are not. How better to slander the name of Christ than to claim to be his follower while acting in a way repulsive to him? By claiming to represent him while performing acts that humanity in general would condemn? This is a clever device and one implemented by Satan.

There's a difference between true Christianity and being overzealous. God never commanded random death and destruction to be part of the Christian ideal.

remeber not all folks who claim to follow christ are true christians
18. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
19. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
21. "Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
23. Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
