Me and my ex went out for 4 years. We broke up about 1 1/2 yrs ago and have been on and off ever since. He is the only person I have ever loved and even the only person I have ever slept with. I just can't seem to find anyone else that I can even think about loving or even sleeping with. What is wrong with me? I know he is not the one I should be with but I just can't seem to move on. I have tried to date other people but I just can't do it. What do I do? How can I move on?

I think it's a comfort zone. You feel safe to open yourself up to this person. You need to let this person go, because you aren't giving yourself time to open yourself to anyone else. It's human nature to fear what we don't understand, so you resort to your comfort zone with your ex.
Try going out with friends and giving your number to people. Socialize, Mingle, & be open to new experiences. Make this a new year...leave 2006 back in the past. Move on and let go of failed relationships that won't go anywhere.
Everytime you get the urge to talk to your ex...think of why you broke up....and call a "new" friend.

if u want a life u are going to have to move on, maybe get some therapy, and try to find some nice person to love. can't keep going back into a relationship that just doesn't work, just because it is familiar and u love this person. if the love isn't returned it means he doesn't feel the same way about u. u are stuck in the past, and don't seem to be able to see the truth with your ex. as if u are in denial, denial has a way of protecting us from the hurt of having to face the truth. if u want a new relationship u will have to seek it, and be part of it, as we all are responsible for our own happiness. we may never find just what we are seeking in life, but if we look for someone we will find someone to love. we just have to love the guy who loves us, and forget the past and the man who for what ever reason has chosen not to be with us.

Well firstly you need to stop being so hard on yourself. These things take time to get over and the longer you prolong the relationship, the longer it will take to get over. If you're not ready for someone new, SO BE IT. Don't force yourself in to something you aren't into, it's not doing anyone any good. Just relax. Hang out with your pseudo-fella (if you want to), your friends and by yourself. Eventually something will click and you will know what to do.

He's not the one? Your wrong you still love him, and see him on and off. You problem is you think something better is out there. This is life relationships get boring it doesn't mean you not in love. I think you two should get married and have kids, the kids will add something new to the relationship and you guys can be happy together again.

what you need is a good vacation with you girlfriends and meet new people. I felt just like you after I got divorce but then I realize that there is more men and more fun in the world. and trust me after you try some in bed you will find out how good is to try something new. but be careful. move on with your life.

nothings wrong with you but if you dont try with another person You will continue to be alone....in the future if the person doesnt profess love in the first 3 months dont waste more time..

you need to find your self respect clean your house up throw old picture away and move on first youre not his booty call anymore
