Judging by all the bible has to say(command) of it's followers on the subject, God wants us all to be seriously disabled. Why?

guyster: what's so particular about the conception of amputees having their limbs restored through prayer is that it would teach, irrefutably that miracles exist. And, when you consider that there are, per chance 1000's of 1000's (or maybe 1000's and 1000's) of Amputees in the international, they a ways outnumber dwarfs or albinos, or different genetically challenged persons. NO "ALLEGED" MIRACLE has ever been Proved...in trouble-free words BELIEVED!!! And in each case the alleged miracle proved to be spurious, or the top results of organic causes. even with the actual incontrovertible truth that there are 1000's of 'miracle' shrines by skill of the international, no longer ONE has ever considered a authentic MIRACLE like the regrowth of a HUMAN LIMB. As for the idiotic reaction that some animals are able to regrow lacking 'limbs'....that's below observe....except the poser needs us to trust that animals pray for outstanding remedies. LOL

not to sound rude, but 'get real'. First, back then, public punishment was having a limb cut off. Today some Middle Eastern countries still did this. Second, cutting off a head doesn't make a person an amputee, it makes them dead. The ultimate punishment-death. Third, the Bible (as in many of your references) refers to a person or a family lineage being 'cut off' of being of God's Choosen Ones. Or being 'cut off' of the land that God gave them. or being 'cut off' of God's blessings that God had given that generation. And some of the references you have are mere parables or metaphors.

I don't know about the Koran. I believe that truly mean to literally cut because the Middle Eastern countries still do this today at times.

I notice you have apochryphal and Koran verses also.

The bible verses need to be read as a whole and with the Holy Spirit. The Old Testament is the LORDs Covenant with Israel & law of sin and death. If one broke the covenant, then the conscequences.

As far as New Testament verses, Jesus doesn't expect us to cut off our hand, but to come to repentance. If I recall correctly these verses are after Jesus warning others of offending any of these little ones who believe in him. It would be better if one was weighted and thrown into the sea than to abuse these children. Even the Fathers Angels always watch over them. If ones hands can't stop from abusing children, cut it off. In the body of Christ (Churches) some aren't born of God but claim to be and do bad things in the Churches. These also should be reproved and if doesn't repent to God and confess Jesus Christ Lord, should be removed from the church and their hands on position.

Hands would represent doing work in the body of Christ with hands.

Also, In Christ we are no longer under the law of sin and death, but under Grace of God.

Also, God sent his word and healed us... That would include amputees. And I have heard of miracles where arms grew or legs grew. It has happened before and it will happen again and sooo much more as we see the Day of Christ Millinnium Reign approaching.

The big question here is....

can a leg amputee run for president?

No, truly:

* God is all-powerful. Therefore, God can do anything, and regenerating a leg is trivial.

* God is perfect, and he created the Bible, which is his perfect book. In the Bible, Jesus makes very specific statements about the power of prayer. Since Jesus is God, and God and the Bible are perfect, those statements should be true and accurate.

* God is all-knowing and all-loving. He certainly knows about the plight of the amputee, and he loves this amputee very much.

* God is ready and willing to answer your prayers no matter how big or small. All that you have to do is believe. He says it in multiple places in the Bible. Surely, with millions of people in the prayer circle, at least one of them will believe and the prayer will be answered.

* God has no reason to discriminate against amputees. If he is answering millions of other prayers like Jeanna's every day, God should be answering the prayers of amputees too.

Nonetheless, the amputated legs are not going to regenerate.

What are we seeing here? It is not that God sometimes answers the prayers of amputees, and sometimes does not. Instead, in this situation there is a very clear line. God never answers the prayers of amputees. It would appear, to an unbiased observer, that God is singling out amputees and purposefully ignoring them.

Funny he should command someone to cut off their leg or pluck out their eye if it offends them, yet this seems to be the only type of affliction he can't heal.
