How long should a piercing really drain? I know everybody is different, etc. My nipples have been pierced for well over a year and they still drain a little bit. I know that they are not infected and they do not hurt at all. The drainage is a whitish color. I was just curious because none of my other piercing do this... I love my nipple rings..I really don't want to take them out...but should I? And yes they were done by a pro!

They should be fine. If you are really active it could jut be the sweat causing build up in the holes and if they aren't swollen and red then I don't see why it's a concern as long as it doesn't turn yellow and goey (like really icky snot). I have five piercings and my newest is a year and a half old and will some times do that if products get in a hole or I haven't cleaned it that day. You might try cleaning it a little more to keep that out or use a sea salt and water mixture to wash the piercing if it continues beyond what you feel comfortable. If you think something might be wrong go to the shop and have them check it out, they can give you an exact answer and suggest some other cleaning solution to solve it. Good luck, the nipple piercings sound hot!

Mine drained for over a year as well. I was concerned, but I just wound up using daily sea salt soaks and the problem stopped after a couple months of that. Also a change of jewelry helped (mine are worse if I have barbells in)

Even now, its been 4 years for my horizontals and 2 for my verticals, they still act up and after a week of soaking clears them up in no time!

I suggest you try keeping them clean, along with always wearing a clean shirt/bra. If it doesn't get cleared up after a few more months, I would probably take them out. They might even be pierced incorrectly. Even pros can make placement mistakes from time to time and the piercings may have even migrated slightly. Repiercing may help. but it may not.

To be difficulty-loose, i don't love it or loath it. i do not stumble on it offensive or disgusting and that i'd not in any appreciate opt for someone because of the particular fact they have been coated in them, I surely have the intelligence to verify those with information from skill of their personality not the way they look. declaring that i'd probable less than no circumstances date a guy piercings as i do not stumble on it pleasing, yet it truly is largely my type in adult males! i imagine of it matches some human beings yet not others. I less than no circumstances get at the same time as human beings say the 'love' it and are coated in piercings, yet then they probable does not settle for as real with the topics i love. each and each and every and each and each and every to their own. I used to have my abdomen, tongue & nostril pierced yet have taken all of them out now, i have were given self belief i grew out of them. i does not get them carried out decrease back however. I although have my ears carried out!

Well its safe then sorry, either go see a doc and you might need to get meds to stop it OR take them out and close it up and then re-pierce I know they were pros but ppl can make mistakes and pierce in like half an inch wrong.
