How do you get rid of an "under the skin" pimple?

I have this underskin pimple by my right nostral and i always get under skin pimples there and its not popped up yet but i kno it will and it hurts so bad already how do i get rid of this and how do i prevent this from happening again cause i get them a lot?!?!

I would apply hot compresses to the area multiple times a day (just toss a clean, wet washcloth in the microwave for 30 secs or so) to soften the area and try to bring it to the surface. This should also relieve the pain a little bit.

Also, you want to dry the skin out in the area with some kind of astringent (or rubbing alcohol), but make sure it's not too strong for your skin or you'll just irritate the area and make it red and flaky. I have a friend who swears by a baking soda paste (just a little baking soda and water mixed and then applied to the area) to draw it out, but I've never seen this work all that well.

When my niece had severe acne, her mother put her on zinc and it worked so well that I recommend it to everyone. I use from 25mg on a good day to 50 mg on a I-feel-a-cold-coming-on-day, because I had always had a reddish tint to my face. The zinc cleared that right up and I continue to use it just to keep my skin in top condition. It doesn't cost a lot, either!
