Well my sister told my mom that she loved her as she was leaving, and mom refused to say it back, wouldn't you agree that she was cold for doing that?

This is a tough question. Depends on why your mom did not want her to go. It may seem silly to you, but it may be important for her. Maybe she is unable to tell the real reason. Whatever, I feel your sister should have given first preference to your mom instead of your aunt, who should not in fact have gone against your mom's wishes in the first place

It would have been so much nicer if they had left on better terms and it would have been even better if they could have been nice to one another.
However some times people act and do things for reasons we can't explain....

All we can do is stand by and hope that they will reunite and get over whatever it may be that is bothering them.

Keep thinking positive for them....and know that with in time...they will heal.

Yes she was cold but hopefully she'll regret the gesture soon.
