Toss them in crock pot with skin on or off and cover liberally with your favorite bar-b-que sauce with a heavy sprinkling of dried onions.

Then just let them cook. I like to use sauce with hickory or smoked flavor and they really pick up flavor from sauce. No additional seasoning needed. Don't even have to thaw meat first. It is a bit of a dump it in and run recipe.

Saucy Chicken Thighs (Crockpot)

lbs bone in/skinless chicken thighs (can use breasts)
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes
I can tomato sauce
1 chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste (I only used pepper)
1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Layer all ingredients in CP and cook on high 1 hour then low 6 hours.

Serve with spinach fettucini, mashed potatoes or rice.

you can cook anything in a crock pot put them in with salt pepper sage and water a little carrot and celery and let simmer all day very yummy and the broth will be great too

Put them in with a bottle of bbq sauce it's great. Add a little liquid smoke and it's better
