Try searching at http://www.craigslist.org

There are some good deals on this site. (Be sure to set your state and region by clicking on your state on the right side first)

For less than 2000 it will definitely be an older model vehicle, but they can be found on the site.

Things to remember.
1. Always get a written receipt from the seller.
2. Never hand over money unless they hand you the Title of the car at the same time. If they promise you the title, tell them you promise them the money as soon as they get the title.
3. Always check the title with the VIN number of the car to be sure they match before handing over the money.

I would recommend getting the vehicle inspected by a mechanic before purchasing. I recommend getting a compression test done to determine the state of the rings and valves of the engine, so you don't run into troubles later.

Good luck.

All you have to do is look! Go out and find something instead of sitting in front of the computer and asking other people to do it for you. Go to some of the local restraunts or stores and put in applications. You can get a cheap car by looking on ebay or in the local newspaper.

Just go to any liquor store, and pick up one of those free "Penny Saver" newspapers....they always advertise cars, trucks, and vehicles for sale, that's how I got a car once, and there are even jobs advertised in them!!! Good-Luck, to you....... Also there's plenty of work to be found online, too!!! Smile!!!
