I trust my kids with a Catholic priest any day. After all, I've met more good priests then bad and I think it's a shame to judge everyone for the actions of a few. You still send your kids to school, right? What about all those teachers who abuse the kids? OR coaches? Or secular daycare providors? Or next door neighbors? or relatives? Gee, you should probably just seal your kid in a bubble to keep them from all those evil pedeophiles out there.

I think it's a shame how the entire Catholic church is taking the rap for what a few stupid priests did. That whole molestation thing happened to include about 0.05% of Catholic Priests, and about 95% of the children involved where dumb as f*ck because they couldn't see that there was something wrong with a priest sticking his fingers up their butt. If it were me I'd be like "what the f*ck do you think you are doing?" and if he said "Don't tell anyone", I'd be like, "F*ck you *ss hole, I'm telling!"

Leave the Irish out of it, it's the religion that's the problem. I went to Catholic school, and was not sexually abused, but the verbal abuse was unbelievable, and at that time you got "the strap" when you messed up. That school is in Ontario, Canada.

there are bad people everywhere! i took my child, when he was a year old to a regular daycare. after 2 months, he began to behave weirdly. he wanted to sleep in his high chair and he would cry and throw a temper tantrum if i wouldn't let him. i thought it was a phase. then a daycare worker, who just started working there called me and let me know that for the 2 weeks she was there, the toddlers all sat in high chairs for 7-9 hours a day, and were not recieving snacks or lunch. she also informed me, that they would take naps in the high chairs. i immediately called a social worker and took my son out. evil exists everywhere, no matter if you are atheist, catholic, baptist, etc.

Yes, you can.

Studeies have shown that a choild is 100 times more likely to be sexually molested at a public school than by a priest.

Safer than school!

"The physical sexual abuse of students in schools is likely more than 100 times the abuse by priests." -- sexual abuse researcher Charol Shakeshaft.

Says who?

Both, in Public school and Catholic Schools, you run this risk.

It takes being In God's will to be able to protect your children from preditors in school.
