If you have no experience running a store, a General Manager at a large dealership, the manufacturer will not grant you a franchise.
If you are a minority, you might be able to get into a Minority Development Program. They train you how to own a dealership then they put you in a manufacturer owned dealership and you "buy" the dealership with profits generated by the store you are running.
Even then you need to have auto experience. Your best bet would be to start working at a dealership, do well, get promoted, and work you way up. Save your money and start a franchise in a small town that is growing.

You could get a "Grant writer" to fill out all of your paper work, and get a Government Grant.... That's how all of these Oriental's did it, when they all started to buying everyone's "Mom & Pop" stores!!! Through Government Grant's!! We all are entitled to atleast one, I do believe!! And in fact I know this because they wont quit sending me emails!! They do take a cut however, to do your legal paperwork, for you!!! Unless you know a "Grantwriter" who will do it for free, then I would guess it would be worth the $500.00 they charge!! Good-Luck, to you!! And may your dream come true for you & be a Success!!!
