Considering the fact that most millionaires had to work hard in one way or another to make their millions, I'm sure that they - like me - can't stand people not willing to put the effort in themselves. So the answer is no.

I disagree with some posters who say most millionaires have worked hard. There are lots of people who are extremely wealthy because they had rich parents or came into property. If I had spare money I wouldn't hesitate to give you some, just for having the gall to ask for it (probably only a tenner though). I also would make it my mission in life to give as much as I could reasonably afford to charities and anyone I felt would benefit from it, if I had millions. Must be a fantastic feeling to be able to give for no other reason than the fact that you are able to.

My job is working with millionaires and billionaires. The ones we work with have made their money through hard work, not inheritance or fame. I can tell you that most would not just give their money away. It doesn't make sense for them. They will invest it, give it to a charitable organization, or use it it some way that makes sense for their Estate and/or taxes.
Good luck in finding someone foolish enough to just hand it out. That only happens in the movies.

I know a lot of millionaires and believe me when I say they're not as generous as you may think... and they have every right to be. What's the point of working hard and making your first million (or your 500th) just to hand it out to everyone who has his or her hand out.
They're very generous when it comes to donating to charitable organizations or good causes, but outside of that... good luck! I'm sure they all have learned from MC Hammer's mistakes by now.

millionnaires (some anyway) made their money through sweat, tears and hard graft.
everyone that asks for money should get off their lazy asses and get a job.
money does not fall out the sky, and people who made it actually worked for it
