So has anyone here actually started a relationship with someone that they've met on myspace? If so how did that go? I'm a bit iffy about the whole thing, I guess since its something I've never done before and well to be honest I think I'd kinda feel like a loser to go online and meet someone that way. Is that wrong of me? I have a friend who met her current boyfriend on it and she thinks its the greatest thing, dating online. Her boyfriend is a hunk...should I just get over it and get into the new style of dating worry free?

Online dating is tricky. You never know if the person is telling the truth. BUT it's nice cause you find out personality traits and issues before you even have to spend the time on a date. It's kind of like traditional dating backwards. You used to meet someone you were attracted too and find out if you hit it off. This way you hit it off and then have to find out if there was an attraction.

My roommates have been together 2 years and are now engaged... met online. I met the guy I'm currently dating on myspace. So my answer, yes it does work.

Just be careful. Make sure you talk on the phone first, meet in a public place, and make sure one of your friends knows his name, his number, an other info you have on him and where you are meeting (all for safety sake). Good luck!

What is wrong with dating someone you met on Myspace? When I was reading this question I thought to myself: "Now I would not date anyone on Myspace." BUt then I thought about the question. Meeting someone on Myspace is truly no different than meeting someone through a friend or meeting someone in a grocery store. Actually, think about how many people go on blind dates; Myspace is like a blind date to an extent. I think the relationship is okay if you actually meet the person and have stuff in common. So long as you are comfortable with it, GO FOR IT!!

Well personally i think myspace dating is pointless cause one you can't even see them, touch them etc... Why get sumbody online why u can find someone you can hug and feel. And I think the reason why most people date online cuz they can't find nobody in real life thats just what I think

I personally think that online dating is ridiculous. You can't see them, unless they live near you. People lie all the time, that hunk of hers could be some bald guy whacking off to her pictures on there.

The best way to meet guys is at church. Ha funny i'm saying that mine is in juvey, but oh well. Dont trust guys on myspace, the ones willing to be in a relationship online are prolly desperate and perverted and only want sex.

How old are you?
