im buying some new curling tongs this weekend. i want quite biggish loose curls not tight ringletts. what are the best make of curling tongs i could get

Ive used braun independant gas tongs for years.you can move around more while using them,take them away with you and the curls arent so tight.They heat up really quickly and i would never be without them!They use gas refills which are only a couple of pounds.Try them!

to be honest i dont think its the curlers u got think about its how u use them, any well named brand will do the trick, just make sure u use all the right stuff to help ur hair, i.e shampoo's n conditioners formulated for curly hair, heat protection spray or balm, and the after care products such as serum or hair spray etc. hope it helps, i just dont recommend buying the most expensive then theres not need to.

I've got toni and guy ones...they're cheap and you get all sorts of attachments for them. They were only 20 pounds from boots!
