I guess it depends on exactly which "hump" you mean....I can give a few options. I love a little bump in front. You can grab about a two inch wide section of hair from the very front of your hair, comb the section straight and then pull the hair towards the back of you head. Twist the hair slightly by the ends and push the section of hair forward a little to create the bump. Secure with two bobby pins at the ends. You can also create a "hump" by styling the front of your hair a specific way (with your bangs smooth and to the side for example, or however you choose, but smoother and flatter), and then backcomb sections underneath the top layer of your hair at the crown of your head to create volume. Smooth the top layer down gently, being careful not to comb out the backcombing and spray with hairspray to hold the style. This gives kind of a 60s boufant look, but can be fun to wear.

Push your hair forward until you have reached your desired hump size, then put your pony tail holder in or whatever you choose to hold it that way.
