NO. The U.S. should not punish our BP Agents, but in saying that they should also allow them to enforce the laws of the US. Many laws that we have on the books are not enforced because of regulations, administrative rules and just plain lack of commitment by US attorneys. Many of the Immigration Laws of the US are just administartive and will not be enforced beyond a piece of paper. Whenever you try to enforce them, you hit a great big wall. So in asking about punishment for performing the job or the Border Patrol, you should really be asking what you can do to help the BP Agents actually do their jobs.

nicely, because they call them nationwide safeguard, yet they are somewhat Greeters. I study on a border city channel 4 internet website that the nationwide safeguard pronounced a collection of armed adult males in Mexican military uniforms go the border into our u . s . a .. when you consider that they were unarmed, all they could do changed into to call the Border Patrol. Bush would not favor Fox mad at him. they have all of that beautiful oil contained in the Gulf, you recognize.

If the border patrol agents did something they shouldn't - then yes. (shooting in the back is frowned upon in law enforcement).
But you also have to realize unfortunately, that the reservists were confronted by a drug cartel, and ran. Leaving weapons, etc, etc....
Are we going to punish them? They were just supposed to be building the fence.

Depends if they are doing their job by the book, legally and non-discriminately. No!!!!
If Vice Versa they should be punished like every other officer who takes the law into his own hands.
That is why they investigate before they decide what to do.

Not really. Well the BP is doing their job of stopping illegal aliens from entering this country without a valid passport. They shouldn't be punished, unless they let them in illegally.

No, but that is what the government is doing. We should bring our troops home(at least the National guard) and place them along the border.

Absolutely not.
Those agents should be reinstated, given a parade, and treated like heroes.
