Get some chicken/pork/beef (or whatever you want and slice it thin and marinade in dark soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and lime juice (any or all of these will do nicely).
Chop some assorted vegetables - any combination of onions (spring are best), peppers, courgettes, carrots, mushrooms, spinach or pak choi.
Also finely chop (or use pre-prepared) garlic, chili and ginger.
Fry it all up -starting with the meat which should be removed before doing the vegetables and then added back in at the end - should take about ten minutes max. Serve with noodles or rice or just on it's own if you can't be bothered.

Perfect. My favourite quick (and very healthy) recipe.

I'm not sure I understand you - you are having tea tonight? You want a meal ?
In 45min you can make a nice soup and sandwich. If you are having guests you can make a shrimp/crab sandwich - cut the crust off and it looks a little more special. Make a nice fruit salad.
If you had prepared ahead of time you could have a casserole ready to pop in the oven. Or you could always do a crock pot dish.

Apply a little margarine on a baguett and sprinkle pizza herbs.Bake it for four or five minutes in the oven at 220.
Buy good biscuits if you are not on a diet.
