Women: Has it ever been a problem for your husband/bf if you make more money then they do?
This is for a paper that I am thinking about writing.

Does not matter to me if she makes more money. If living together, that means she can help with bills. if not that means she can treat every now and then.

Yes. My ex husband disliked the fact very much. I guess it bruised his ego. I have always had traditional values and I tried very hard not to make it any kind of issue and disrespect his manhood. I thought he should have been happy that more $$ was coming into the household? That is a wonderful thing right?
Wrong. He could never get over it. : (
Obviously, there were bigger issues other than the $$.

My friend and I were just talking about that on friday. To me it would matter at all, deep down I would probably even like it. But it call comes down to how much I love her, if she makes more money, it could even be considered a bonus. But you have to make sure you dont become a gold digger. But theres the people like my friend who like to feel like they are supporting their wife with their money. But you should just be able to support her with your love.

honestly, for me, no, but at the same time i would work as hard as posible to ease the financial strain on her, because in so many home the family depends on the dad for the money, its not unlikely to find a home where the mother is the primary financial provider
