I'd say decapitation is more bloody... There is a fear of blood more than a fear of hanging in America.

You don't choke or suffocate to death in a hanging.... Your neck snaps causing the brain to shut off from the body. A noose is specially tied and fit to every neck. You die instantly from hanging, and if it does take and extra second or two to die you'll feel no pain.

Although getting your head cut off may cause you to choke mid decapitation (that is if they are hacking) from the blood being inhaled into the lungs.

The intention of a hanging is to break the neck, not to decapitate. However, this can happen sometimes. The intention of a decapitated head execution is just that: to decapitate the head. The Guillotine would be an example of this type of execution.

Decapitated head execution is when they cut someones head completely off. Hanging execution is when they hang someone and it breaks their neck. The result is the same, death.

Sometimes (as in when the weight of the hanged is not calibrated to the length of the drop and the end result is the head being pulled completely off the body).

The end result from the point of view of the executed is all the same.

Decapitation is the most huane way of executing someone. Hanging is a very barbaric practice. Humane execution is an oxymoron at any rate.....

Decapitated means to chop off the head,To be hanged is where the neck is broken thus causing instant death.
Both of these get the same results. "DEATH"
