He is fighting on UFN on the 25th of this month. Honestly, if given the chance, I think he can beat Tim Sylvia, but I think Cro Cop will get the chance first and easily take the belt. I think Heath gets a couple of tune up matches and eventually gets a shot at Cro Cop for the belt....i know this may be a while down the road, but that would be a fun match up. What do you all think? That would certainly give the HW division a nice boost it really needs!

I also agree with most of what you said. Heath will certainly be a great addition to UFC heavyweight division and he should definitely have some great fights there. Sylvia, Arlovski, Vera come to mind first as possible opponents. But to be honest, I don't think that Heath will be looking to take on Mirko ever again, being that a title match or not. He really got annihilated in their first fight. Mirko left him without absolutely any chance and and crushed him so brutally in 3 minutes and 20 seconds, and he was still very inexperienced at the beginning of his career back then. So it's really hard to imagine what possible chance Heath (who, truth be told, hasn't been doing too well these past 2 years or so) would have against Mirko (a man on top of his game and in the shape of his life, the most feared fighter in the world at this moment) if they were to have a match over the next few months.

Heath Herring is very close to the elite of the elite. He can beat anyone on a very good day, and lose just as quickly to the best. However when I compare him to sylvia he will win this fight 4 of 5 times. Sylvia has pulled some wins out of his *** and I would consider him a wee bit lucky. He has good athleticism but no real polished poise, I doubt he could place in a high level grappling contest or ever win in K1, he has just put some intangibles together to string up some nice victories. Heath is a higher class of fighter however.

Good, Heath is a very good HW. He can def. beat Sylvia. However, he may have some trouble against Vera. Def. top 3 HW in the UFC at this time (and thats including Mirko).

I agree with most of what you said thats how I see it going down, I think herring vs sylvia would be a great fight and I wouldnt put bets down either way but those are my favorite fights and there should be alot fights like this with Herring being a great addition the HW roster.

Heath has a lot of heart, and I love to watch him fight. I think he will bring a little more quality personality to the UFC. I feel the UFC is full of assholes, especially in comparison to PRIDE. All in all, I hope that he does well... I don't think he will be a title holder, but he will make a great contender.
