I'm having the same trouble. The one thing I have been trying since the beginning of the year is I had a picture taken of me in my favorite summer outfit (shorts and a tank top) and have it on the refrigerator. Anytime I go to binge out of boredom or try to find something to eat for supper, I try to look at that picture and how I could look a lot better if I lost weight. So far it's been working, with that and exercise I've lost two pounds! Not much but it's a start :). Good luck!

I have a picture of me now at my heaviest and a picture from my wedding of what I want to get back down too. This encourages me to stick with it. I also have a great group of friends that encourage me, when they see that I am making the right choices they patt me on the back as encouragement that I am doing well. I also mix things up as I work out at home and at work. At work we have a weight station, free weights and 3 treadmills and a stationary bike, I try not to do the same thing more than 2 days in a row. Then at home I have a treadmill, an ab lounge and a boxing station I do the same thing there. I also listen to some heart pumping songs while I work out that helps to keep me moving at a good pace.

The number one thing is to NOT approach it as a "weight loss plan". It must be a life style. Incorporate it into your everyday life. Make it a "norm". It is very hard if not impossible to lose weight if your mind set is, your doing this to lose weight. You must think of it like, brushing your teeth, or brushing your hair and know that it is ok to cheat. Not gorging but cheating is more than acceptable.

Find a friend who will keep you motivated. maybe you can work out together or take walks. Finding another person who is also dieting helps, then you can help each other. Join weight watchers they are very supportive, and they understand how hard it is to lose weight.
