i was 18 and off to college after that i moved back for a couple months while i started working then moved with my boyfriend
but every child is different my friend still lives at home and hes 26, my neighbours are in there 80's and they still have both there groen sons living with them :?
the time has to be right and dont make then feel like they can never come back and ask you for help

16. Just kidding as I have a 16 year old. I think the best time to be out of a parents home depends on the individual and how responsible they are. It would also depend on what is going on in their life. Do they have a job or are they going to college? All these things matter.
I never think it is a wise choice to let a young adult hang around with no direction in life. Now is the time to set the course your life will take so plan carefully for the future or you will be amongst the "have nots" and that is not a good place to be in life.

by the age of 22, at the most. and that would only be if you are going to college.

I was gone at 18..but it was my choice...I had been planning my excape since I was 15 and started working.
Depends on the maturity of the person.
