Absolutely! There are MANY archeological digs which have proven the accuracy of Scripture time & time again.
I've seen video footage of coralized Egyptian wheels at the bottom of the Red Sea, & of stone alters in the Arabian Desert where the Israelites sacrificed to the molten calf while Moses was receiving the 10 Commandments.

Many can be proven -- some have proved false. The walls of Jerico burned, but not during the right timeframe. Try a subscription to "Biblical Archealogy Review."

I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but some can and some can't. Ask some more questions about specific events, and you will get better answers. It is a very interesting field to study.

Most of the old testament and a good portion of the new testament cannot be proved. As a matter of fact, a few of the more fantastic (ridiculous) events of the old testament can be demonstrated to be false through archeology: the worldwide flood, the exodus, the plagues in Egypt just to name a few.

well it depends on the events.

Jericho, for example has been found and there is evidence that the walls were mined by sappers in a siege. how do you distract the opposition for mthe digging sounds? Have your guys walk around the city blaring trumpets maybe.

Other things are more problematic. there is no evidence of the events in exodus for example, and even some Israeli scholars are postulating that David, solomon et al may be mythical figures.

Its a fascinating field of study!

Which events are you asking about? Some people, cities, and sites might be real...with real artifacts, drawings, writings, etc...but I doubt you would find any real evidence of supposed miracles and other major events.

I believe that Jesus was a real person and that yes he was probably crucified, but I don't believe he was the son of god. He was just a very good person.
