HA ha..... Ok, well what is the quickest/cheapest form of travel from LA to LV? Please!

LA is a big place to find a hotel and you don't state where you want. I get way better hotels than Motel 6 on Priceline. For instance, a Residence Inn, located in Manhatten beach is normally $45-60 on Priceline. It has a full kitchen in the room and breakfast buffet every morning.
Check out biddingfortravel.com and look for the cities you want to stay in and winning bids have been posted there to give you an idea of what is possible.
Cheapest way to Vegas is to drive and that takes about 4 hours depending on traffic. Next would be either bus or train. Flights are about $100 round trip.

The cheapest you will probably find is Motel 6.
How long? Depends on how you're traveling? Flying? Driving? Walking? On horseback?
