>>I heard that the catholic church is against using Contraceptives, is this true?<<

Yes.

>>what do the followers use?<<

Some use contraception anyway. Others use fertility awareness (paying attention to when they are fertile and deciding whether or not to have sex at a certain time). Still others don't pay attention to their fertility and leave the number of babies they have completely up to God.

True. The Catholic church is against any type of contraceptive that is not natural, so your only options are abstinance and ovulation tracking according to the Vatican. No pills, condoms, IUD's, etc. Most followers I know use pills or condoms. The Catholic church is out of touch with reality and most people realize that and take the necessary precautions that work best for them. I'm not advocating sex outside of marriage, but for married people, I say do what you have to do.

Yes it is true they need a lot of kids to keep the money coming in and that's the reason for real. What other reason could they give. And when you have to many kids and cant feed them they don't give you much help. Because Rome needs to live the good life. I know a good catholic family that feel on hard times ans went to the church. Tehy were told to go on welfare and get money from friends and family. They bleed you and then dump you in time of need

Yes. According to the Catholic Church, sex is supposed to be for reproduction only. If you wait until you get married to have sex, you don't have to worry about illegitimate children. And why use birth control when you are having sex to reproduce?

However, it is OK to use Natural Family planning, which has been proven to be almost as effective as Birth Control. With this, you only have sex during the times of the month when your wife is least likely to get pregnant. Apparently, if she takes her temperature every morning, you have about a 95% chance of getting it right. There are some other methods, also, for when your temperature may not be constant (sickness).

While the vatican still seems to be against BC, I knwo many catholics that realize prevention is much better than any other alternative. Not everyone lives in the dark ages.

I am Christian and think that BC has got to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I dont knwo why more people cant get the grasp of the concept.

a million. i'm a lady and that i have complained about the HHS mandate a lot. and that i recognize a lot of different females who've, inclusive of truly popular bloggers/journalists Kathryn Lopez and Elizabeth Scalia. 2. birth control became invented through adult men so that they might have sex with out fathering little ones. that's actual undesirable for females. Hormonal birth control will advance a lady's chance of cardiovascular disease, deadly blood clots, liver disease and more desirable, at the same time as reducing her libido. (verify the uncomfortable aspect effects listed on any hormonal birth control and skim it for your self.) that's basically ridiculous to say that birth control is solid for a lady's well-being. that's not. that's the option of well-being care, and adult men created it to oppress females's sexuality and fertility, now to not help females. 3. So-referred to as "feminists" are actual hostile to issues that are woman, like childbirth. 4. The Catholic Church honors females, truly than attempting to suppress a lady's organic femininity, inclusive of her fertility and her libido. The Church teaches adult men to respect females, at the same time as birth control instructors adult men to apply females for sex and under no circumstances be to blame in the route of them in any respect. 5. interior the Catholic Church, God creates the canons/concepts, and the Church (adult men and women) keep on with His lead.

It's true. We prefer that you don't have sex until you are married and can care for the baby. But, with today's society of "Let's all have sex and who cares about the consequences" that view isn't very popular. I, for one, refuse to engage in sexual activity until I'm married.
