but he turned out to be a smoker who drank alot, was seeing some one else and also tried to skank money out of me!
So do you think I'm right in being more offended cos he was an ugly b@st@rd or is that irrelevant?

lol...lol....I get like that too. Its like "Damn, I gave you a shot and this is what I got ?" .....lol. I think its normal to feel more offended when its someone not up to your usual standards.

Looks are irrelevant. The reason you should leave is if he is with you for the money, and cuz he cheats on his women.

Think of it this way - how would you feel if someone said no to you cuz youre ugly (not saying you are). Not nice is it?

Looks have nothing to do with it.

If he was good looking, would what he be any less wrong or painful?

Be glad he showed his true colors and let him be on his merry way. Find a new guy, look for what is inside. Is he kind? Loving? etc etc etc. Is it fake until he gets what he wants or does he really want to be with you?

Then and there will you be able to see that the outside is no indicator of what is inside.

You should feel MORE offended because he's ugly- Us Ugly people are quite sensitive.

But I think the money taking, and two timing was totally out of order!

He might have been a delightful, caring, sweet-natured person, then your feelings would've been completely different.

I have to say though, on gut feeling I'd be more inclined to just think he was being ungrateful and unpleasant if he wasn't as good looking!

Pathetic really...

Least you've not lost anything worth having!

Since you didn't fancy him, and since he wasn't faithful to you, it woudn't have worked anyway so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I have to say though I I love the way you say he "turned out to be a smoker" - it's not like you discovered he's spent most of his life in prison.

It's irrelevant.......his personality is ugly, moreso than his looks. Go right ahead and be offended by what he is, not how his looks.

Abraham Lincoln once said that "If you're a racist, I will attack you with the North" and these are the principles that i think you should take in this situation

well you could at least say your judgement had been clouded by his devastatingly good looks if he wasnt such a minger - so yes definately you have more cause to be offended!!!!!
Better luck next time
