The reason he wants to kick the son out is because "he hates him"

The mom should kick out the bf! If mom let's the bf kick out the son, then that's called abandonment. This mom (I hope it's not you) has serious issues if she is even considering letting some man kick her own son out of the home.

Does the son have a father he can go stay with? If so, then yes, it's completely legal.. I mean it's legal anyway. The boyfriend can kick anyone out of his house that he doesn't want there. The mother should stand up for her son. If he's acting crazy and that's why he's getting the boot from the boyfriend it's probably because his mother is acting like the boyfriend is more important than the son. This should never happen. Once you have children, they should ALWAYS come first!

The mother is responsible for the son till his 18th birthday. How any mother could stay with a boyfriend that would kick her son out of the house is beyond me.

The answer would depend upon what the 16 year old is doing. Is he or his behavior irresponsible or harmful? Is he being destructive? The discussion to kick him out, however, should also include a discussion with his mother. I cannot imagine a mother not being involved in that discussion nor a mother choosing a boyfriend over her son.

He can but its not legal if something like this is happening and the mother is doing nothing about it than the son needs to contact social services and report it. The boyfriend needs to realize he can't pick and choose, Mother and son are a package deal.

Just want u to know that in most States it is against the law, to kick your child out of the house.. please go to the authorities to see if this is valid in your State... I think that there is more to the story than what u are telling us.. They can try to get counseling to make this living together work out.aruging is not the SOLUTION . If his Mom wants her boyfriend there then that it her choice.. But she has to be consider her sons feeling also..Good luck to all of you..

Then the mother should go with her son. Any mother that lets that happen should be reported to CPS. She should be putting her son first before this boyfriend.

If the son is not welcome, then neither is mom. If mom allows it, the kid should be taken from her by social services. He's her responsibility and it's HER responsibility to make sure he has a place to live. If it's the BFs house, he can do what he wants. He's not the father of the kid and the kid is not his responsiblity.
