If you are on a lot of medications, the medications COULD be causing part of the problem. Such as birth control pills DEFINATELY can cause chronic headaches. In fact, there are several medications that have the side effect of headaches. Also, take into account; changes in hormones around menstration! And, of course; changes in blood sugar.

There is also what doctor's call a migraine diet!! However, not ALL the foods on the list you will have to avoid. For me, ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER has been the MAIN culpret!!!! The best thing to do is to keep a journal of what you eat & WHEN you get the headaches. This WILL give you a place to start!!

The migraine diet consists of avoiding: caffeine, cheese, chocolate, artificial sweetener.......... you can find out MORE about the migraine diet on WEBMD!!!

I'm on Amatriptyline for my headaches/migraines. It's an anti-depressant, but they use it for headaches too. Try Aleve (for some reason, Aleve works when 14 Advils or 10 Tylonals don't), the bottle says 3-in-24-hrs, I have to take 5, but it's the only thing (nonperscription) that seems to work. For the really bad ones, I have to take a presecription, Relpax, which seems to work miracles. Physical therepy has helped a lot as well.
Try seeing a specialist to get you started on fighting these.

Few things to try.
1.)Chiropractic. Your spinal column could be cramping the nerves that run along the spine causing you headaches. Ever get in an accident? Fall lately or something like that?

2.)Allergies

3.)Most likely, diet. Check out www.drfuhrman.com He has a lot to say about it that makes sense and has cured a lot of people with your problem.

Good Luck
