would be the best play mate for a papillion?

I would say Pomeranian or Bischon Fraise (they might be a little bigger but my neighbor has 2 bischon Fraises and a Papilion.

My sister has an Akita and a Papillion they love each other and play very well together.
Huge size difference but it works for her.
Most of the time the best combo is the same breed oposite sex fixed for the best companion and playmate.

Probably another Papillion, but you could try any other toy breed.
There are 21 of them but a few that come to mind are the Pomeranian,Chihuahua,Minature Pincher.

Another papillion? If you don't want the same breed, dachsunds go well with other breeds, or maybe a pomeranian.
