Aside from what Broshct answered in your other question about acid?
you could start by examining the periodic table of the elements and discover the history of how it was developed. Also why its in the order it is, which elements are grouped together and why
also start with the chemical make up of very common compounds, like water, salt, carbon dioxide
enjoy

Take a look at the periodic table of elements. Every basic type of matter is here (almost), the universe is made out of these. Mostly the first (smallest) two. All of these are also called chemicals. The rules they follow when they combine into groups, called molecules is what chemistry is all about. Every element and molecule has it's own personality and properties and the types of elements/molecules it likes to associate with. I found giving them personalities related to their physical properties helped me remember things about them.

Must be tough when you can't spell. You have my pity.
Now chemicals is a pretty broad topic. I definitely recommend this great new thing called Wikipedia--it just might have what you are looking for. I know you've probably never heard of it, it's definitely not a site many people have heard of, and like no one uses it, but I promise it has information that will come in abundant amounts!!
Also there's this exotic thing called a text book.

Start by spelling it right. I believe you mean chemicals. Do a google search with the correct spelling and I'm sure you will find lots of info. Also look up MSDS sheets - material data safety sheets - they are required for all chemicals.
Another acronym you might want to look up is OSHA - that is the agency that makes sure that company follow safety guidelines for their employees. They are the agency that requires the MSDS for all chemicals.
