Quit trying to fool them with logic. Most are very good at pick and choose.

good point and yes, you are correct. But keep in mind that the Bible never says that having long hair is abomination to the Lord.

Homosexuality IS AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD!

We were made to have sex with the opposite sex, man with woman, that's what marriage is all about. The body designs were made that way and homosexual behavior goes against this design. You wouldn't try to fly off a cliff with your car would you? Would you attempt to put a hamburger on a hot dog roll? just because you can figure a way to do it, doesn't make it right.
It goes against the nature of each individual design. We srew a nut onto a bolt because it was designed that way.

Homesexulity goes against God's design of the human body.

I agree with you.
How do you like my long hair? lol

When I was a teen I had long hair on the sides and front so that I could sweep it back into duck tails. I quit that when I became a man. I no longer felt like a needed to look like the Fonz.
Actually I was a teen long before the Fonz, so he was imitating me.

IMHO, men with long hair are in rebellion.

BTW: The only hair style that I dislike is those who grow long hair on one side of their head so that they can sweep it over the bald spot on top.

If you want to go back to being under the Law then go ahead and obey all of the law. If you want to be under grace, then let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.

All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Yes, a man should not have long hair and a woman should not shave her head either. This is what gets me about pictures Christendom have of Christ, they have no idea of what he looked like and then on top of it they give him long hair which God's word says a man should not have, and there are other Scriptures which show that Christ would not have had long hair.

Homosexuality isn't mentioned in the Bible. The Biblical authors had no concept of sexual orientation. They thought everyone was straight -- they didn't know that some people were by nature attracted to the same sex. They thought gay people were straight people being perverse, and that's why they condemned them. But now we know that gay people are gay by nature, just as we're straight by nature. To force them to be straight or celibate is unnatural.

As for hair and clothing styles: those things are culturally relative. Paul wants people to be respectable, that's all -- not to cause a ruckus. The Corinthians were a rowdy bunch and he was trying to make sure they didn;t scandalize their neighbors and give Christians a bad name.

I don't think a man should wear long hair anymore than I think homosexuality is right.

The act of homosexual sex is a mortal sin of the flesh.

Having long hair was considered bad cultural taste.

It's like how bell bottom pants would be looked at by people if someone walked around in them today.

It's that pick & choose thing again.

Also, Corinthians? Isn't that just the rambling "epistles" of St. Paul?

Lol "Homosexuality gets you aids" apparently, according to the guy below me. I guess he thinks gay people haven't discovered safe sex yet. I don't have aids, and neither do any of the other gay people I know. I bet you don't even know how it's transfered do you? Jeex...
